Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci once again join in the new pictures made while filming The Irishman. Based on Charles Brandt's book, the Irishman follows the life of the famous gangster, Frank Sheeran (De Niro), who claimed to have been involved in the 1975 disappearance of Teamss boss Jimmy Hoffy, a mystery, this day remains unresolved (despite offensive statements, Like his body buried under the former Giants Stadium). Al Pacino is set to debut at Scorsese in Hoffa.

The Irishman notes that Martin Scorsese is returning to the gang of filmmakers and is recruited by his longtime collaborators, including De Niro, Pesci and Harvey Keitel. De Niro and Pesci were known as one of the great filmmakers through their appearances at Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Scorsese Casino. Neither actor has collaborated with Scorsese since 1995 at the casino, and Pesci has retired from the 2010 Love Ranch, with the exception of appearing in the movie The War on the Tale of 2015.

New photos taken on The Irishman in New York (via Chris Evangelista) give fans a glimpse of united scorsese, De Niro and Pesci. One particularly funny picture sees Scorsese seemingly scrutinizing the face of the Pesci while Pesci bursts into a smile. Another shot shows that Scorsese pointed to the car, apparently giving direction Pesci. De Niro's shot shows the actor leaving the car, probably while filming the photo. Costumes, cars and dressing sets indicate that the scenes are set in the 60s or 70s.

Thanks to De Niro and Pesci together with Harvey Keitel gives the Irish a sense of total care for the 74-year-old Scorsese. However, this does not mean that the Irish simply throws away Scorsese gangster movies. In fact, Scorsese said he is fighting Irishman differently than his classic gangsters Goodfellas and Casino.

In order to tell the ten-year-old Irish story, Scorsese intends to use de-aging CGI on leading actors Robert De Niro. The extra money added to the budget using CGI has made large studios silent away from the project, but Netflix has finally entered and agreed to produce. De Niro said that without Netflix and their willingness to undertake projects without large studios, the film would not do at all.
